June 1620, 2008: Join us for this summer's Vacation
Bible School, Amazing
Miracles!
All children ages 3 through
5th grade are invited to take a trip back to New Testament times,
where we will encounter stories of the miraculous ministry of
Jesus the feeding of the 5000, calming the storm, walking
on water, healing the sick, and even bringing Lazarus back to
life! In addition to these great stories, there will be plenty
of games, crafts, snacks, and of course the famous sand box and
water play. VBS runs from 911:30 a.m. each day. Tuition
is only $30 for the week, and scholarships are available.
Are you older than 5th grade? Please consider volunteering for
the VBS leadership team. It's a great way to spend a week sharing
God's love with others, and you're guaranteed to have a good
timewe always do! If you would like to volunteer, please
contact me at 412.661.0120 extension 16 or at gmorris@calvarypgh.org.
I hope to see you at VBS! Gregg Morris, Coordinator for
Christian Formation

In October 2003, following a Special
Convention of the Diocese of Pittsburgh, Calvary Church, together
with its rector and senior warden, brought suit against Bishops
Robert Duncan and Henry Scriven, and other officials of the Diocese.
St. Stephen's Church, Wilkinsburg, and Mr. Herman S. Harvey,
a parishioner of St. Stephen's Church, Sewickley, later joined
Calvary in the action as plaintiffs. Click here for the story
