In 1981 Beginnings was launched to serve the needs of Calvary families and the local community by providing care and education for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and their parents.

The goal of Beginnings is to provide a safe and secure environment in which young children can grow through play and organized activities. Teachers plan and implement programs designed to foster the development of the “whole” child. Careful attention is paid to the needs of the individual child while encouraging social and group experiences. In each class, the children are given the opportunity to explore materials and activities in a nurturing environment under the direction of experienced teachers.
